Her mother was most likely killed by palm oil plantation workers and then sold illegally as a pet shortly after. She was estimated to be only eight weeks of age when she was rescued.
Your support has helped us adopt her and help pay for rehabilitation and medical expenses through The Orangutan Project.
BUT WAIT!... THERE’S MORE
Your support has helped us purchase a piece of the rainforest to help protect critically endangered orangutans.
Within the protected rainforest, some of the very last populations of Sumatran tigers, elephants and orangutans will continue to roam and breed in safety, just as they had done for thousands of years before land clearing, poaching and fires almost wiped them from our planet.
This is just the beginning for us. Our goal is to help more endangered orangutans and protect more of the rainforest.
Help support, spread the word & positively impact the planet.
